Having traveled too many places upon this rock and elsewhere, I find that the time has now come to take a path towards higher-enlightenment. I know that as I take this journey, I would like to have someone with me along the way.
Spirituality is my chosen path. Religion has its place but I have found too many conflicts when it comes to religion. Spirituality allows me to understand that the Great Spirit does not have to have a man made house to be worshiped in.
All around us is a school with many teachers, from the creatures who fly, walk, crawl or swim, to the rock people, plant people.... to learn from the Spirits of the earth, wind, fire and water. I accept the wolf, eagle, bear, dragon and others as my totems. They help guide me and I choose to listen to their words of wisdom to guide me through this Lifetime.
Can you begin such a journey? Are you ready to take that journey with this two legged voyager? Have you taken Mother Earth and Father Sky as teachers to learn the way? Aho...
I prefer two wheels to four. The freedom of a bike traveling across the desert towards a setting sun, with the warm wind moving around you, being able to see the creatures move across the desert plains and hills cannot just be seen; it must be experienced. While I do also travel in other vehicles, the motorcycle is the best means, not unlike a wild stallion that can move across the hills with the speed of the wind itself.
I enjoy to camp throughout these wonderful southwestern lands, to fish from many of the lakes and streams which Mother Earth provides. Even to sometimes just set at home and watch a movie or two on the television. Listen to the rain fall upon the dry grounds and hear the earth drink each precious drop. Watch and listen to the lightning and thunder as they create a wonderful sound and light show for all of the world to see. Even to just sit quietly in the desert at midnight with a full moon showering its light upon the earth and watch the creatures of the night move about as if the night is more alive than the day.
I enjoy listening to many types of music, from classical, to jazz, R&B, oldies from the big bands of the 40's through the rock of the 80's, new age to the mystical, the sounds from the drums of a POW-WOW stir deep within me and at times allow me to fly free.(Does this happen to you? Do you understand what I feel?)
I read to learn, to enjoy, to laugh, to understand, and sometimes just to escape to other worlds which can only be found from other's imaginations.
I "work" as an advocate to help veterans. A calling that has taken me many years to discover and is something I enjoy. I am also active in issues concerning those who would be forgotten, our POWs (Prisoners Of War) and MIAs (Missing In Action). For me and many of my Brothers and Sisters they WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! Aho...
I would like to share my time with someone who enjoys time together, and time apart, walks in the rain, at night, in the snow, or just down the road holding hands on a lazy evening time. You know how to laugh just for the joy of it. Cry because you care-for what ever reason.
Understand that sometimes I may need to take a walk-about just for myself, as I try to understand your needs for the same.
To me beauty lies from within one's own self. The twinkle of the eyes as they smile from within. A grin from a mischievous thought, the touch of your hand for no reason in particular, to sometimes just sit in each others arms without any need of words, are a part of what I seek from you and I will try to return the same as well. I am awaiting that special someone who is ready to finish this life's journey together. If it is to be, then it shall be. Are you ready? As varied as there are stars in the sky at night and as enjoyable as there are amusement rides in all the grestest fun parks across our great land.

Current Favorite Artists / Bands: My music taste are as varied as those who have created notes to paper to the instruments to be heard. From the classics for the 3 B's, into the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th century and some that has manifested itself into this new 21st century. So much music, so little time.

"The Last of the Dogmen", "Thunderheart", "What the Bleep Do We Know?", "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "The Last Samurai", "White Buffalo", of course watching the kids in the Harry Potter movies come of age as they grow with the characters from the books which they pretend to be, ahhh fantasies lived out in life, it has got to be a kick in the grass for them

Who has time for TV? Yet, there are some fantastic adventures to be seen on there from time to time. Comedies, dramas, action, history, education and the list continues as the human mind creates new stuff for everyone to witness their talents.

Having been reading since before I began school, I have found that books have carried me from the deepest oceans, to the farthest stars, with visions into history and that which might come to pass. Words of great speakers, leaders who shaped our planet, our government and our lives and those to come. Reading will always take us away and bring us back again.
