the true and great philosophy is inside every human. there are two ways in this world good and bad. the inner yourself knows the route to follow so only thing u gotta do is to determine the way you gonna go and jus follow your heart > :) . tc .

From the moment you leave home, practice mindfulness, keeping bodhicitta constantly in mind by thinking continuously, “The purpose of my life is to free all sentient beings from suffering and bring them happiness.” Think like this with everybody you see— This is the secret to enjoying life, to living a happy life in a meaningful way without allowing your ego to cheat you.
After a few years of meditation practice we can even learn how to occasionally ignore ourselves. And what relief that can be! =)
-Lama Zopa Rinpoche
The beauty of life is, while we cannot undo what is done,
we can see it, understand it, learn from it and change.
So that every new moment is spent not in regret, guilt, fear or anger,
but in wisdom, understanding and love.
-Jennifer Edwards
Cool loneliness allows us to look honestly and without aggression at our own minds. We can gradually drop our ideals of who we think we ought to be, or who we think we want to be, or who we think other people think we want to be or ought to be. We give it up and just look directly
with compassion and humor at who we are. Then loneliness is no threat and heartache, no punishment.
Why be unhappy about something when it can be remedied? His Holiness the Dalai Lama notes that if we avoid or turn away from The Eight Worldly Concerns in our spiritual practice, we can reduce suffering. SIMPLE SOLUTION: What are you attached to? What do have aversions to? See if they mirror the Eight Worldly Concerns:
1. Attachment to getting and keeping material things. 2. Aversion to not getting material things or being separated from them. 3. Attachment to praise, hearing nice words, and feeling encouraged. 4. Aversion to getting blamed, ridiculed, and criticized. 5. Attachment to having a good reputation. 6. Aversion to having a bad reputation. 7. Attachment to sense pleasures in general. 8. Aversion to unpleasant experiences
Let your love flow outward through the universe,
To its height, its depth, its broad extent,
A limitless love, without hatred or enmity.
Then as you stand or walk,
Sit or lie down,
As long as you are awake,
Strive for this with a one-pointed mind;
Your life will bring heaven to earth.
-Sutta Nipata
It may look as if we're doing nothing on the cushion, but in fact we're cultivating peace. From that point of view, the practice of meditation is a courageous activity.
Through peaceful abiding, we learn to rest fearlessly in our natural state, which is basic goodness.
If we can learn to relax our discursive mind, we will find that underneath it all, we already happy.
Each time you return to the breath, you're taking one step away from addiction to discursiveness and fear and one step forward on the path of enlightenment.
The path of meditation isn't necessarily about becoming a Buddhist. It's about awakening to who we already are: buddha-"awakened one."
"The root of all faults, all failings, is nothing other than ignorance. This ignorance is like mistaking a heap of stones on the horizon for a human figure; it has no basis whatsoever, which means that even the source of these faults and failings does not exist."
Our problems, in other words, all come from nothing; they are all based on a misunderstanding that does not even exist. The more I think about what Padmasambhava said, the more I realise how true it is. With all our ideas, with all our misunderstandings, how often do we ever grasp more than a partial and distorted version of how things really are? Our whole vision of reality in fact amounts to a fabrication, an exaggeration, a fantastic edifice of delusion. Once we miss understanding, we create something based on that missing of the point, which can not but be a lie and an illusion. And in turn, we swallow the lie and fall for the illusion and take it to be true, like the fool who spends his life chasing after the fabled crock of gold that is buried at the end of a rainbow.
is for your best year yet,
a year where life is peaceful,
and what you want, you get.
a year in which you cherish
the past year’s memories,
and live your life each new day
full of bright expectancies.
I wish for you a holiday
with happiness galore
and when it’s done, I wish you
happy New Year, and many more.
